It is better to have loved and lost. It makes you stronger, wiser, and maturer. Life is about experiences. Love is one of those experiences, and as you may have guessed--so is loss. You live to GAIN more.

Well I have been in love and lost because they never returned that love back to me. I would give just about anything to have some woman be in love with me.
How be it now that it has been so long I may not trust her be never the less it would be great to have someone love me.
So the answer to your question is no.
I gave up on love long time ago but I really wish that there was someone still out there for me somewhere.

I believe that this is true. There are lots to learn from having your heart broken (hopefully it doesn't break too often or too many times). Being in love is one of th ebest feelings in the world, and I believe that people who know what it means to love and to be loved are generally more happy and content with themselves and the world than people who do not know what love is. Loving and losing can help to build character by making you a stronger person (if you know how to and are mature enough to deal with the loss). It also helps to prepare you mentally and emotionally for your next relationship, so you can deal with and learn to appreciate whatever that might come along...good or bad!

I say jump in!

It's better to have never loved at all. You'd never know what you lost, and you wouldn't have to deal with the pain that comes after the break-up.

It's deffinately better to have loved, it's the most special thing in the world, and unfortunately, losing your love, is devistating, but you will always remember what Love is! While the pain fades, not get me wrong, fades is that the better memories get the overhand, pain never goes away completely

I think it is better to have loved, at least you know some of the troubles to go through, and it just might be a little help the next time

I have to disagree because what you don't know won't hurt you. If you have never had love, you won't miss it.

But on the other side of things, you might want it if you see others having it and enjoying it.

So the real answer is, there is no way to determine a general answer. I think the answer will differ from person to person.

It is better to have loved.

Existence is an experience, and the more experiences we encounter, depending on their quality, can enrich us. How can you pass up love, or the illusion of it?

And when you are alone, without someone to love, miserable, at least then you can have a faint smile and know that love does suck.

that's wierd. I was just thinking that !!I think it's better to have loved and lost. To feel love is wonderful but does ultimately bring pain. It's better to experience true emotion than to no t feel or be denied it.
