i've known my best friend for more than 3 years now. Recently, she's been talking to my boyfriend a lot. I'm not the jealous type, so i don't care, and i know he would never do anything to hurt me. Who i'm really concerned about is my friend. She's the sort of type who starts to get crushes on people who don't really like her. She always ends up getting hurt. For some reason, she insists on treating him as if she were his girlfriend too, even though they're just best friends(i'm assuming) Like how he asks her to buy her stuff, and is always there talking to him. Today, i don't remember what she said, but he gave her a hug, and i didn't reallly mind, but then i saw the expression on her face, and it was happy. Then he went back with me, and she got sad. And lately she's been saying that we "gross her out" we gross everyone out. (grow up) which is not really that true. so what do i tell her? or him? but he doesn't know of this.

She may not want your man, just a man in general. There aren't any guys that she likes? She's gonna have to find one of her own soon. Let your bf know your suspecions. He might back off if you clued him in on what's happening.

So she obviously likes your boyfriend. If you really trust him, then good, but talk to him about it. Tell him that your not jealous, but your concerned. Tell him not let her treat him like a boyfriend. Maybe hugs are not a good idea anymore, and just be friends at a certain level. If he cares for you he'll understand. If not, he has feelings for her too.

Face it, he is probably being with both of you... honestly, as much as you don't want to be jealous, he's gotta be doing something behind your back. A guy is going to be a guy, so face reality and know that as much as you want to believe he wouldn't hurt you... HE WOULD! If you're having your doubts, either confront them or if he would do anything for you, he would 1. stop talking to her, after you tell him how you've been feeling. 2. He will change his number to where she cannot contact him. Trust me, my boyfriend did it, and that's how I now know he's all mine! You just have to step up to the plate, because at the end, they are both going to end up laughing in your face.
