Cute photo of the cat. Yes I believe the Earth is in trouble, due to the ozone layer and global warming. That's why we got to make our planet a cleaner, healthier and safer one for our kids. As for future generations, I think that it's fine. No one wants to live in an unhealthy, polluted planet.

Not really, no. As far as global warming, ozone depletion, and polar ice-cap melts, humans will cope. It will be a loss to humanity to have species of whatever go extinct before we even get to check them out, but the only way around that is for world poplulation to stop expanding. The human race could be emperiled by efforts to regulate reproduction.

Yes, in 2036 we will find out if an asteroid will be close enough to the earth to hit it. We need to create a missile system to divert asteroids now.

I think that in the long run we are in trouble. Long run meaning thousands of years.
Eventually global warming is going to strongly affect us, but it will be centuries from now until it hits us hard enough to really do damage.

I quess it depends on how you look at it, if you read the last book of the Bible, Revelations, you might understand that the direction the Earth is going is really for the good of those who are believers in The Lord.

Leave it up to the ever-increasing inteligence of our future generations.
We might one day be able to colonise one of the closer stars' planets, we might be capable of interplanetary travel, we might be able to abandom this world and move over to the other rocks.
