This has never been an easy topic, but trying to answer your question from my perspective: We are fighting every day, working hard, going to schools, creating business..... but is not easy. Turning a country's economy takes decades, even centuries, we are trying to do it with our daily work, in the meantime the inmigration phenomena will continue, not because we desire it, is sad to see families torn apart, but anyway, as someone said, the amount of people going to USA is very little compared to all we that stay here, we are proudly working our hearts out to see them back soon, creating jobs for them and for the young generations.
Again, you should know us better.

The amount of 'middle income' Mexicans are VERY FEW. There is a great divide in that country between the rich & the poor and hardly any one is in the middle. Its a good idea to ask that Mexico take care of their own, if they could no doubt they would. They have nothing to fight for or with...You are an uneducated bigot - but then agian, most bigots are.

The mexican gov.is like the muslim gov.keep your people mad at the U.S. and they won`t have time to realize their own gov.(i.e.)people are the true problem! At the same time dems, use the same tactic,to keep poor Americans mad at republicans, and the rich,to deflect their attention,on the fact that the dems are the ones hurting the poor with the promise of taking from the rich, and giving to poor, when was the last time anybody poor out there ever got a check from the dems after they took form the rich?

I believe they are taking care of themselves. Uhhh, have you taken a look at Mexico's government? It's a breeding ground for corruption. There are either really rich people or really poor people... lots of poor people. If illegal immigrants were really bad for the US economy, government would've nipped in the bud a while back..... think about it. Pros...cheap labor... reduce costs.... make more money.... donate some to your favorite political party..... keep them happy. Cons....group is seen as a "devaluation" of a community. Increased government costs for public healthcare. Obviously the pros outweigh the cons or action would've been taken. Every once in a while, people will rise and speak and politicians will throw enough money at the problem to keep it under the rug for a little while longer.... or at least until they are out of office.

I totally see your point. The problem with the Mexican government is that it is basically just like ours, they only care about the rich. The poor folks come to the US for a better life for their family, it sucks in certain ways for some Americans, but there you have it. You´d probably do something similar if you were in the same position. I can´t really see any realistic solution to the problem short of solvingthe poverty problem (which we cannot even do in the US.)

Because people follow the path of least resistance.
It's simply easier to enter the U.S. illegally (if you're caught, not much happens anyway; you get sent home) than to begin a political reformation or revolution.
Not saying that's right, just the facts. The easier path is taken more often; especially the one across the border.

I don't know if you're a bigot (yet). haha
Actually, you don't sound like it from this question anyway.
For one, there's not many middle class in Mexico so I can see you your knowledge on Mexico isn't strong. But you are right that Mexico needs to improve for the sake of their many poor and the benefit of the whole country.

I heartily support that view and maybe we ought to be looking at how to create magnets for them in Mexico. Which might be cheaper to look into. People (businesses) who use their cheap labor will no doubt disagree. Well fate sometimes deals a crushing blow. We stole their land (Texas and California and maybe more) like they say payback is a bit ch (lol)
On the other hand Mexico is a great place for Americans to retire -they even accept our Medicare.

So Miss Bigot, do you take care of America's poor. Somehow I doubt it, you are probably middle income and couldn't care less.

in Minnesota there are eighty-thousand illegal Mexicans.....they generate700 million dollars in state taxes but only use 400 million dollars worth of government services. they take jobs at burger king and McDonald's so you can stay on welfare. if they didn't take those jobs and didn't drive the economy there would be less welfare money available and you would be forced to take a job and you are not qualified to work at the fast food......next time you sign in at yahoo instead of going to answers how about trying news once in a while. just once. that's all I'm saying..........
