These are obviously irreconcilable contradictions. Each gospel records Jesus' words differently (although Matthew and Mark are the same, the Aramaic words are recorded differently). This exposes a few things about the Biblical story. Either: 1. The whole thing is made up. 2. Each evangelist received similar but differing traditions about the Jesus event. 3. Each evangelist recorded his gospel according to his own theological understanding of who Jesus was. Any combination of these could also be the case.
To assert that he said each of these things is a cop out. The texts do not record each one, and if they are inerrant, then the last words should the be same across all four gospels. It is doubtful that any of the last words of Christ are historical, rather, the evangelists are employing a Midrashic form of writing, taping into the Jewish scriptures in order to find meaning for the Jesus event. Matthew and Mark directly quote Psalm 22, while Luke and John employ words that fit their own theological bias and story. There are other contradictions as well in the crucifixion account. What did the soldiers place the sponge of sour wine on: a reed, staff, or branch of hyssop? These contradictions cannot be explained except to say that these are very human documents with a theological purpose. Good question.

Each Gospel account gives a different quote from Jesus before He died. This does not indicate a contradiction as you are implying. It simply means what it means---each writer recorded a different statement Jesus made before He died. Remember, Jesus was on the cross for six hours. He had plenty of time to say everything that has been documented that He said. Also, Matthew, John, & Peter (from whom Mark got his Gospel account) may not have heard what the other Apostle heard as Jesus' final words.

Well I would guess that Jesus was probably thinking....(I hope they understand I am God and know that they really don't understand my way to deal with injustice in this world......they will not take up their cross, but they will take arms against their accursers......and kill to the end.....and all this for nothing....I am certain I will come again and in those days...very little will have changed....merely the names and places....)

Matthew 27:45 "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"
Mark 15:34 "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"
Luke 23:46 "Father, into your hands I entrust my spirit."
John 19:30 "When, now, he had received the sour wine, Jesus said: "It has been accomplished!" and, bowing his head, he delivered up (his) spirit.
What your trying to show is that they say "different things." But your wrong. Three of them say the exact same things but from 3 different points of view. The 4th, Lukes view simply says it in a different way, instead of saying "it is done" he says "into your hands I entrust my spirit." Again, pretty close to the same thing.

I do see what you're getting at.. your name kind of gives it away. ;-) I'll give my answer from a Christian perspective anyhow.
"My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"
Or if you'd like the actual words:
"Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani"
And then
"It is finished."
It was the first time in his life that he experienced complete seperation from God, and descended into Hell for three days. Which, in my opinion, was even worse than the being nailed to the cross.

It's something else how people refuse to reason. If Jesus said "forgive them Father for they know not what they do" Was he talking to himself if everyone believes he is God? Why would he do this?????? Religion murdered Jesus, plain and simple. I certainly would not sacrifice my son for every ones sins. Remember Jesus words eye for an eye tooth for tooth. Meaning we pay for all our errors one way or another.

the respond is interior the Holy scriptures. "Why did God have Jesus die on the bypass for our sins?" He did not. It became a voluntary act to place Himself up via fact the the value for our sins. The salary of sin is loss of life. Non-different than the main Holy ought to make amends for the sins of all mankind or maybe people who might settle for the present of grace. Mankind has an inate propencity to sin. try as we would, all of us provide into temptation and sin against the main severe authority at one time or yet another. "what if he didnt try this, might all of us circulate to hell" particular.
