Nothing is more precious than the life of people and animals. Beauty is good but, unless it is accompanied by qualities such as kindness, love, respect, intelligence, a sense of humour, it soon loses its magical effect. So, yes, beauty is skin deep but it does give you an advantage over not so attractive people initially.

Beauty is not skin deep but some people think that it is skin deep and don't look past that. First impressions of people are based on appearance so nobody wants to look past that. If people do get a chance to look past that then they can meet the real person and find that they are more beautiful than their outward appearance.
