First of all, have you actually *seen* her concert? Or are you just basing yourself on biased news reports?
Myself, yes I *have* seen it, and no it's not "shocking" or "mocking" at all. What no journalist ever mentions is that during this performance in her show, she raises awareness for African children dying of Aids. Contrary to the Church, who causes more Aids victims by keeping a pre-historic logic that forbids preservatifs, Madonna is actually doing a good cause here. Further in her show she applaudes the diversity of cultures, religions, nationalities,.... in the audience.
Now tell me, who is closer to Jezus' Message, Madonna or the Church?

MADONNA’S TOILET FETISH PROVES REVEALING
Pop-singer Madonna will take her “Confessions” concert to Rome on Sunday. During her song, “Live To Tell,” she wears a crown of thorns while suspended from a mirrored cross.
Catholic League president Bill Donohue had this to say about the event:
“No wonder Jewish and Muslim leaders are joining Catholic leaders in denouncing Madonna’s latest stunt—it’s an in-your-face gesture that if tolerated will only beckon more attacks on religion. We agree with Bishop Velasio De Paolis, a Vatican official, who compared her act to ‘Satanists [who] use religious objects for Black Masses.’
“Liz Rosenberg, Madonna’s spokeswoman, says ‘the Pope would enjoy the show’ and that ‘Madonna does not think Jesus would be mad at her, as his teaching of loving thy neighbor and tolerance is Madonna’s message as well.’ Looks like this witch needs to be exorcised as well.
“Last week it was reported that Madonna demands to have a new toilet seat at every concert. Which only goes to show that Rosenberg is wrong: Madonna’s toilet fetish proves that her real message is scatological, and that’s why she needs to clean up more than her act.”

The only reason Madonna enjoys in mocking Christianity in her new concert tour is because primarily, she does not see herself as Christian anymore, since she has switched to a Jewish religion instead, and then I personnally think she really does not believe that Jesus Christ existed at all, especially to take away everybody's sins and she probably believes that everyone is responsible for their own sins and we should be able to go to God himself and absolve ourselves of all our sins.

Publicity... ... She already did that with Papa don't preach. Can't she come up with something fresh? She sounds like a broken record already.

Why do you care? People have been mocking religion since it was invented, and we'll continue to do so until people can start thinking logically.

Because insulting the Church is the "newest and coolest" thing to do.
I wonder if she knows that she has, Canonically speaking, excommunicated herself from the Church.
