ok, there's this guy in my english class that I like. we talk during class and he is a really cool guy, but there's one problem. he's got a girlfriend already! he's been going out with this girl for like over a year and they don't even talk to each other very much. my friend said he likes another girl but he wouldn't tell her who it was.
what should i do?

if he's got a girlfriend, then unless he and her have like this wonderful relationship where nothing can go wrong, they'll eventually break up. then, you sneak up on him and BAM you've got yourself a boyfriend!

Ask him out on a date, but keep it quiet so he doesnt get in trouble with his girl.
weekend brunch. something semi-romantic, but safe.
Then talk with him...he will let you know if you are the one he is talking with your friend about.
I know it sounds awkward and maybe even hard to do...but trust me don't wait...get right to it cause you never know how long you are going to be on this trip.
Don't wait ....you get closer to your end everyday.

Keep talking to him like you do. If he really likes you he will break up with her and ask you out.

wait... don't try to make him break up with his girlfriend because you will then be the bad guy in this... if things are meant to be they'll fall into place very nicely.

he's got a gf so back off. even if he isn't happy with her it's up to him to end it with her without anyone else getting involved. wait until he's single and then go for it
