I do home daycare and I need some ideas. It needs to be something that will not keep me in the kitchen for hours. Also, it must be FDA approved.

I've tried preparing the recipes from this website (and I'm no chef - in fact, all thumbs around the kitchen) but they turned out quite well! Easy to prepare and healthy too.

Should pass FDA since they were created by Medical Doctors and nutritionists.

Hope you enjoy them.

For breakfast, try dry cereal on a plate with some sliced bananas and a half a piece of toast. Or try a biscuit with some scrambled eggs on the side and a couple orange slices.

For lunch, mini sandwiches are good along with a store-bought cup of applesauce.

A good snack is any finger food really. Give each child a small plate of sliced celery, baby carrots, and cut up broccoli. Also a home made "trail mix" is always fun. Try mixing corn chex cereal with some raisins, popcorn, pretzel sticks, and m&m's. Kids love that kind of stuff :-)

Apples are great for teething, incredibly if she does not choke relatively. Or placed them in a clean fruit feeder. My daughter (in straightforward terms somewhat older) loves grapes, oranges, and watermelon. Cereal is often a competent determination for snacks or breakfast. Dry cheerios have made for many a quiet automobile trip in our family contributors. A 17 month previous is basically no longer too good with sandwiches except you narrow back them into like 8 products. Pasta is a competent determination for lunches. Mac and cheese, spaghetti, and so on. in case you % some thing fit, there are Birdseye Chef's widespread pasta dishes with vegetables. they are meant as area dishes, yet my daughter and that i oftentimes share one for lunch.

my son loves rice a roni with fried breaded chicken breast (just tenderize it good so it is easy to chew)
stouffer's frozen mac n cheese is good (no preservatives)
sloppy joes sandwiches with american cheese melted on top. I just put the smallest amount of meat in each bun so it not a mess.

Eggs for breakfast, lunchables for lunch. Search for eggs in a basket, it is healthy and good for breakfast.
