Yeah, selfish cow. If she had an interest in something other than nagging then perhaps she could have some money to buy some equipment. Here's an idea - keep £280, buy her a rampant rabbit with the remaining £20 and tell her to go f*ck herself.

It's a horrible thought that she wouldn't let him spend it on fishing tackle when he could be paying for prostitutes, drugs, or paying alimony to last wife that divorced him for spending too much time and money on his love of fishing.

He might just have to perfect his fishing abilities with the tackle he already has.

Doesn't she know that selfish cows are only allowed the luxury of having it their way in India, where they are considered 'Holy Cows!'

he's married everything is = here's an idea he should split the money give her half and he keeps half . So he can use his half to buy his fishing gear/tackle. Or he can get a job at a fishing tackle store ,ya can get an employee discounts on FISHING STUFF. My husband works at a fishing tackle shop thats how he gets his stash of fishing gear but then again i like fishing too so it don't bother me how much he spends.

My fishing partner has the same problem with his wife but we have managed to get around this by doing the following.

He buys his tackle and then leaves it at the shop. A day or two later the shop owner phones his wife to inform her that her husband has won the lucky draw price and he needs to come and collect his prizes.

The husband had to wright two contact numbers down on the entry form and he doesn't answer his phone that why they phone here. {Should she ask}

Absolutely.Completely unreasonable.She should probably bung him £100 so that he can buy more or better gear. Grounds for divorce i think as she is being completely unreasonable.
