seeking job where i work totally alone, sitting down, that allows me to read a book now and then. the only job i can think like that is a parking booth attendant. i was thinking security guard but i dont think i qualify. does anyone have any other suggestions?

Night clerk at a motel or hotel. Weekday bartender. 7/11 graveyard shift.

Maybe security at a department store or grocery store. By that, I mean the guy who sits in the booth with the security camera not the one who stands at the entrance. If you're good at fixing computers and that sort of thing, you usually spend a lot of time alone. Opening up your own business always works too but then you'll have to deal an awful lot with your customers. Maybe you can open up some sort of ebay business.

A nightime job in a petrol station C-Store might work that way, especially if its on a quiet road.

if you are not above receptionist job or EA try that.
