I, too, never dated in high school. I didn't much care about it either. I looked at all the girls who were compromising their own principles in order to get into the sororities, and I just thought to myself "Never me!" The girl who was voted the prom "queen" actually bought the vote on her back with the football team. I absolutely did not want to be like that.

So, if being "popular" means putting out for most guys without question, aren't you glad that they'd rather be your friend?

Try expanding your horizons beyond your school. Get a part time job, and if you meet a great guy doing that, date him.

Once I got beyond high school, I ended up being very sought after by guys. If I had wanted to, my college years would have been spent in dating every night.

So, don't look upon your "unpopularity" as a flaw in you...think of it as blindness in them.

There's nothing wrong with having a lot of guy friends, and no, it doesn't make you "funny", whatever that means. You should think of it as being a great person to be around. Two of my best friends are guys, and while some of our friends don't seem able to understand that it's just a friendship and nothing more, I wouldn't trade them for anything. You can get a whole other perspective on problems or issues or whatever from a guy than you will from a girl. Enjoy their friendships because each one is a special gift.

There is nothing wrong with you. When I was in high school I had a lot of guy friends. I generally like socializing better with men than women as a whole. I dont understand what kind of help you need? Sounds like everything is going well for you.

Ok, you stated your qualifications, but, you didnt get to the heart of your question...

What is it that you really want?

Stating that you are "pretty cute", "pretty popular", doesnt present a problem.

So, how about putting in another paragraph or two to state what the problem is, so that we can address it.

I wish you well..

Jesse
