I also forgot. Yes the teacher is a member of a church. It was in 6th grade. She's not a athist since mostly everyone where I live is a church member.

did you mean hypnotising? no, it has nothing to do with that. it is simply a public act by a believer, wanting to show symbolically that they are now "dead to the world" and have started a new life following Christ. The pastor isnt doing any hypnotism.
your teacher told you that because he obviously doesnt believe in God, and is now attacking religion. sorry he is misleading the class...

Baptising and Hypnotising, are two different things. Baptising is a religeous ceremony. Hypnotizing is a technique to put a person into an altered state. That said, many religeous ceremonies can create an altered state in participants.
During a baptism, depending on the belief of the recipient, it would not be surprising to have them enter a euphoric or altered state.

I'm assuming that you are saying that at baptism a person is being hypnotized.
That is incorrect. All that baptism is, is a public profession of faith that is performed after a person has believed. They are merely taking the first step of obedience in their new life in Christ.

Are you trying to say that BAPTIZING (immersing them in water) is HYPNOTIZING (putting them into a catatonic state) people? Not mocking, but what you've got typed up right now is pure gibberish.

WTF is hynatising? Or for that matter batising? Pull over...this is a citizen's arrest. You are charged with asking a nonsensical question and gross misuse of the English language. How do you plead?

Okay I'm going to make a guess, here. Are you asking if baptising someone is hypnotising them?
The answer is no.
That was my best guess with your "inventive" spelling.....

I don't understand your question. Edit it or something, I'm genuinely interested in what you're asking.
