i think its MORE work for the parents, especially when the kids are young. PT groups, PT meetings, sports, coodinating snack, homework and science projects, fund raisers. The kids are just participating, we are MANAGING.

DEFINITELY!!!Go to grammar school and drop off one then go to a different school and drop off the other two then come home to take care of toddler, get some laundry, get things ready for dinner and an after school snack, then put baby down (hopefully!!) then pick up 6yr old from grammar school, hopefully baby doesn't fall asleep in car then come back home, wait another hour and then go again packing everyone up and pick up other two kids from school. That's a day with no dentist appt.!! oldest son has braces so sometimes we have to go to dentist that is 45minutes away!!That's just a little version of my day (I haven't even started the evening yet!!!) Can you believe that! And no overtime pay!!!!!:) Take Care!1

It depends on what is the age of your children and what kind of work you parents have. If your children are preschoolers... parents are more tired than the children... if your children are already in the siixth grade and up, I think children are more tired than the parents (well as I base it in my position)....

Yes I am dealing with a lot of stress right now. My kids went back late last month and I am having trouble adjusting. I can't sleep. I'm up early and don't stop until late. Plus all the homework. I'm to the point I think I may break down and cry....lol
