My mother is a very emotional person who has been through alot of deaths, and other barriers in the past 4 years. She is now really depressed where she just doesnt care and has let everything go. I am trying to find some type of treatment for her that wont bury us with cost pleas help.

most states has a mental health facility that goes by ur income..in virginia we have district 19 maybe they have the same where u live.u can also contact the;National Alliance for the Mentally ill on ur computer n look up ur state n they will help u find what ur looking for....

Sometimes universities are doing studies on depression and they're pay the cost of the medication during the study.

They're also might be government subsidized mental health clinics that will either cover the cost or help you with the cost by providing a sliding fee schedule.

Try your county health department. Most cities in America have some kind of public treatment facilities that will prescribe or dispense depression meds free of charge.

If you feel she is a threat to herself, you can have her committed by a coroner to a free state hospitals mental ward. Good luck
