ok... first of all you probably wanna die your hair a really light color depending on how bright you want it. I dont really recomend a bleach but yes it would work... just will cause lots more damage then I think you want. Then you go to your local "Sallys" if you have one... its a store that sales solon products (in case you didnt know). Try looking around till you find the right color of "perment or semi-perment" color. Make sure you read the instructions b/c not all color is the same. You might have to get a devoper for the color to work. And you might be able to pass the first step I mention.
On the prices, it varies, altho remember "you get what you pay for" but if i had to guess i would say around $30
Good luck and be yourself! Watch out for the haters!

if your hair is darker than medium blonde you will need lightener , then i used raw look inside the cap that will show you what the color will look like mine was purple passion also look at special effects . if you have long hair you need to use the whole bottle if you're doing all of your hair . as far as lightener try bw2 with 20 volume peroxide leave it until it is light blonde if you want the purple to be brillant . if your hair is light leave the color on for about an hair , after just rinse with as cold as you can take it water then condition , also wait about 2 days before shampooing again . and especially use old towels and put a towel on your pillow case and make sure hair is drry before putting on clothes the color is hot looking but they do bleed

I don't know what color your hair is now but if its dark your going to have to bleach it up with either V-light or Kaleidicolors that's hair bleach and deposit the purple hair color on your hair. I don't know if you have relaxer if you do use the Kaleidicolors. I hope this is making sense. You have to really condition once you go through this process because your hair will be kind of weak. So make sure you DEEP CONDITION!! Good Luck!

noo kool aide!!!!!! first off you must bleach your hair... if your hair is jet black like mine you might even have to do it twice...but be careful b/c when bleaching your hair yourself. b/c when not done correctly.. it can and will fall off (scary i know) when bleached, use "manic panic" or "punky colour"... both last really long.... follow the directions on the bottle, and don't try to wash your hair til the water runs clear cause it won't. And be careful because you will get messy and the stuff will STAIN!! Good Luck

manic panic - availible at newbury comics (in the boston area) and many alternative sotres. Remove all hair color first to get the right color. (fastlighting from mainc panics wroks best with thier stuff) and then apply a bottle of purple haze or ultra violet!

go to Sallys or Hot Topic and buy Manic Panic hair color in indigo or purple...you will have to bleach your hair first to get it bright unless you are blond...its about $6 for the color $2 for the bleah and $3 for the developer you will need...KOOL AID WILL NOT COLOR YOUR HAIR THIS BRIGHT...IT WILL LOOK DINGY AND WILL WASH OUT IN ABOUT 3 OR 4 DAYS

I saw this somewhere, it's kool-aide and conditioner. You apply it to the hair, and leave it on for a ridiculously long time such as 24 hours (wrapped in saran wrap).
