All countries are on a 24 hour day. It only depends where you are in the world what time zone you may be in - meaning what time of the day it is.

Are you serious? On this planet, all days are 24 hours!

However, daylight will last longer or shorter depending on location and time of year. Think about it. In the Arctic Circle, daylight lasts a full 24 hours in summer. In winter there is no daylight; it's dark 24 hours a day. In the northern hemisphere, June 21, the Summer Solstice, is the "longest day," meaning daylight is longest and darkness shortest. Correspondingly, December 21 is the "shortest day" with darkness lasting much longer than daylight. This happens because of the earth's tilt in relation to the sun. The southern hemisphere is just the oppposite. Our winter is their summer.
