Oddly enough, I was chatting to a Jehovah's witness for over an hour, and I was knocking her door! It was part of my job to knock on other peoples doors back then. They seem like very nice people and probably wouldn't mind if you were a bit rude to them because they expect it. Also, listen to one just the one time as you'll gain a better understanding of what their belief system is all about, it is interesting.

I have found that the Way to drive them off is to sit down and ask questions about their faith they can't answer, like the 12 false end of the world predictions, why Charles Taze Russel could not even properly identify Greek and Hebrew alphabet in Congressional hearings, etc. You can go to Watchman Fellowship (link below) for questions and data. What I found is once I confused the visitors with questions they could not answer they would offer to return with a more elder member, then not do so, and would bypass my door thereafter. I would even hear them yell at one another, "No, not that place."

Sometimes you just have to be harsh. Post a no trespassing sign in plain sight and simply tell them that they are trespassing and that if it happens again, you will call the police and file a report. Either that or do what my husband did, he answered the door in nothing but his boxers and holding a Beretta 9mm, lol. He works third shift and they had woke him up. They haven't been back since!

Put a sign on your door. It should work. They are doing what they believe in. The have manners and if you don't want them there, say so. Maybe they need a No Proselytize List...like the No Call List.

Easy, tell them you're sorry byt you're not superstitious. It nearly always works.
I even managed to get rid of a group of mormons by telling them I was related to Joyce McKinney (The legendary "Joyce McKinney and the manacled mormon" published all over the press in the early 70s. They never came back!

Tell them you are a practicing satanist and you converted from Christianity. Also tell them you where in the middle of a ritual to contact the devil. If they don't leave you are going to send Satan after them.

Or of you want to be nice then i say post a sign saying you don t want them to knock on your door. Or tell them you are not interested.

Its really very simple...Witnesse's do not wish to bother anyone
they simply want to spread the good news of GODS kingdom.
IF you do not wish them to call on you anymore simply ask to be put
on the do call list.they will not come to your door again.however
they may try again in a years time as people move and some do
change their minds.so thank you and now you know.....

They are the ones who are being rude. To push any beliefs is not only irritating, it is arrogant and offensive. Maybe it is time to tell them where to go in whatever way you choose! Don't loose another seconds thought over them!!!

Frank , tell them that whilst you appeciate that they have their religious beliefs, they must also respect that you have your own faith and that is how it is going to stay. And would they please not bother you anymore as you are not at all interested in their religious beliefs. They will soon get the message.

If it were the Mormons you would never get rid of them.
