I think John Freida is more for the color.
To build volume shampoo normally but use a light conditioner and only on your ends. Blow dry your hair upside down. Drying in the opposite direction that it will lay will add volume.
I also use velcro rollers just for the added oomph. That is a word. :)
There are some volume sprays out there. Give some a try. Just make sure they don't contain too much Alcohol. That will just dry out your hair.
Good lucky, I can relate!!

I have the same problem. If you can get away without washing it, try that. Personally I feel the need to wash my hair everyday or I feel scangey. I f I want volume I "dirty" my clean hair with Rave hairspray- it is the only one that works well for this. I brush it how I want it, then spray it. When the spray is completely dry I brush it out and do it again. I repeat until I get the desired volume. If you brush while the spray is still damp you will ruin your efforts.

it doesn't help with volumizing but it does make your hair shinier. You could try SunSilk, it works miracles! I have baby fine hair too i hate it!!!! but this works sooooo good it's unbelivable! I know there are different kinds of them to do different things, but make sure you get the one for volumizing hair
Good Luck!!!!!

i learned this from an old friend,,, who has more than enough experience in cosmetics, fashion, etc....
she told me once,,, the best way for volume and control with fine hair,,,, is to not wash it so much,,,, keep it a little dirty....
seriously..... models know it already.

haha, my chum has this challenge. I unquestionably have clearly volumious hair yet what i understand is that short layers on the ultimate does help. and it seems awkward in case you Tease your hair with long layers. additionally, out of your hairline, brush the two fringe of your hair to the choice area then hairspray.

use gel or hair spray. After a shower, blow dry it to create a volume.
