I called the school district where she used to work at, but they said they don't give out contact info.

You could write a letter to her, and send it to her former school district and ask them to forward it. They should do it for you. That way they are not giving you her contact info which is usually confidential.

You could contact the school back and give them your info and ask them if they would pass it along to her for you.
When you tried google did you put her name in quotations marks? If not try that. Other wise a background check put you have to pay for those. Or if there is still another teacher at that school that would know her maybe you could try talking to them.
They can't give you her information but you could give them yours and ask if they would please pass it along to her for you. Then call back to check to see if she received it.
Try the phone book as well, maybe you will get lucky and her phone number be listed.

Try asking the school district if they know of her where abouts & if they can have her contact you.

try typing the name in yahoo people/phone number search. there are also online companies that find people for a price

online search....try google, type in the name and city, chances are there is some article or something will show up.
