If you have any red in your hair now and try to go to ash colors, you'll have a lovely shade of green. Ash is a green based color. If you have the cash to do it, go to a salon and let them fix this for you. It's better than hating home done results and then having to do another color job over it to fix the mistake.

I hate to say it, because I know it can be expensive, but I would go to a stylist. Ash colors are hard to work with. Your hair can have a green tint to it.

If you do it yourself, save yourself and do a Temporary color first. The ones that wash out in 24 shampoos. If you like it then go for a permanent in the same color.
