Hi, if you only take the time to research and know your rights and how bankruptcy laws have changed, you will discover that there are valuable facts to eliminate credit card debt. Actually, the possibility of reducing or eliminating the high interest credit card debt is now more possible when a person takes action to get his or her finances back on track.

It's always possible to be sued.

But more than likely the statute of limitations will stop running until you return. If/when you return, the SOL will start running again.

For example, you have one year left on the SOL. You leave the country, the SOL stops running the date you leave. You come back in two years. The SOL will start to run again (from the date you return) for one more year.

May not be sued if the amout is not that big. But, leave the country with debt and forget about getting back here. - ever.
