National Express coach from London Victoria to Southampton,then Red Funnel Ferries to the Isle Of White.

National Express coach to Portsmouth. Shop online for the best fare - you may get one for less than £10.

The ferry is more expensive but as a foot passenger off peak you can get a 90 day return for £16 - £17. Cheaper fares for shorter trips.

get the "mega-train" from waterloo* £1.. then the hovercraft from southsea.. £8 return...
