Since I have naturally wavy hair, when I do curl my hair , I have trouble make my hair curls stay intact. I want to know what can I do about that. For example, should I use something like mousse, hair gel, hair spray, etc. , or some of the combinations. give me some inexpensive hair product to use to keep the curls intact and has to look like a professional did my hair.

I too have naturally curly hair and I use products by John Frieda (the Frizz Ease line) and they are fabulous! You can get them at Target or Wal-mart and they have products if you are leaving your hair curly or if you decide to straighten it. All of the products are clearly marked as to what they do AND they even number them in the order you are supposed to use them! I love them.

You do need a product which has some holding properties in it, yet still will moisturize and add shine to the hair. One of the best lines for this is Ojon, which has a few great styling creams which add hold plus keep hair soft and managable. Also, Kiehls professional series has a few styling gels which add hold while still keeping the hair soft - not stiff. You can also try a hairspray, and Dove Advanced Care line makes a nice one with soft hold.

I use a combination of a light mousse, then a styling creme (not gel). Then I use a diffuser on low heat, or let it air dry.
