No man can see the face of God and live, first of all.God is a spirit.
The feeling that He gives is a warmth, unlike regular heat and Chills at the same time. There is no way that you can explain that. The hairs on my arm and neck stand at attention when I am in His presence. You know something in the spiritual realm has taken place, but you can't see it. Just like the wind--you can't see it, but you see the effects of it when it blows through the trees.

Jesus is the revelation of God. If you need an image in your mind use the likenesses of Him. God doesn't make ME feel anyway. I don't trust feelings. Emotions are not reliable.
2Cor.11:14
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
If Satan can do that a good feeling would be a snap...
My faith doesn't require either of these things.. Jim

The absolute assurance that no matter how bad things get in this mortal world... there is a better place awaiting me... this gives me the strength to endure... God will provide His people with the needed strength to endure what they must... and when our mortal bodies are done...then he take us to Him.

The feeling that I am loved, accepted, my sins are forgiven.
Not intentionally trying to be vague, it's just hard to put in to palpable terms.
If it's not for you, fine. I can accept that. I don't think anything I say to describe it will convince you that it's real. But, it's real to me.
Peace.
