Come to San Diego, Xmas on the beach is fantastic!!!
There are SO many hotels and bungalow rentals that you will be sure to find something within your price range. Ocean Beach has an affordable ocean view hotel called The Ocean Beach Hotel at 5080 Newport Ave, San Diego, CA 92107. Or Pacific Beach has an array of places to choose from. The Hotel Del Coronado does a Christmas dinner as does Tom Hams Light House. Plus you get Sea World, the S.D. Zoo etc. perfect for a 5 year old boy.

Depends on what part of the U.S.A. you live in. And how much money you have to spend. First set the family down and discuss with them what each would like to do. Then try to find a place near home that will satisfy the family. That is the nly way to have a happy vacation for all.

In CALIFORNIA
You need to try Yosemite four seasons, my family and i go there every year, we love it, we go for summer and winter we stay up there from Christmas to new years, we rent 2 condos when it is 12-16 of us it is fun for the kids and romantic also,there are condos, apartments and also homes, in the winter it snows you could still visit the park but a few places are close, the kitchens are fully loaded with every thing spices, cups, pans, you only need food, try it at least visit the wed site.

i think of the desirable trip trips are approximately exciting AND high quality time. Chicago in winter is amazing, the lake, and the lights, its all worth it, and the top of the john hancock building at night, with all the lights, is amazing
