My ideas? Try to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. Work hard, but don't over 60 minutes at a time. Do planks and other abs exercises on alternate days.

On training days, do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.

The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!

Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.

Read magazines like Shape, Womens Fitness, Fitness, etc to get tips and to stay motivated.

Good luck and stick at it. This plan has lost me 20 lbs in 12 weeks so far, just go for it!

I've got just the thing. It's designed for rapid weight loss but is very safe because it provides your body with 100% of it's daily nutrition and it's inexpensive. The Cambridge Diet, specifically the Fast Start variation of the diet, would produce maximum weight loss in minimum time. I lost 17 lbs in 3 weeks on it and my doctor was thrilled with the results because my blood pressure and cholestorol also came down along with my weight! See "The Diet" tab below for details on Fast Start. They also have an 800 number you can call and an email address for contact. Good luck in whatever you decide!

Diet and exercise together will be your only natural resource. diet=cutting back fats, breads, sugar and other starches. Try the oatmeal and water diet for the 1st 3 days. Then add fruits to the menu for the next 4 days. Unlike most, I start my exercise routine by focusing on my most troublesome areas first because the immediate results are encouraging and helps to put together an exercise routine that is tailored just for you by you.

exercise, no pre-packaged foods or processed foods no bread, cake ice cream candy or high carbs. Try the south beach plan for phase one, or the sonoma diet phase one, sick to it longer then two weeks so by the third week the pounds should all be off.

Try the atkins diet. Just know that if you deviate from it, or get off the diet, you'll gain weight back.
