She's asking because she knows that something isn't right with it. She's looking for confirmation. You KNOW that cut is TWISTED. Please tell your girl that her new cut missed the mark. Don't be cruel, but be honest.

Next time she asks you if it looks ok say " do you like it? " if she says "yes" say "well that is all that matters then" then say" I liked it better before, but if you are happy with it then its ok for a change, I just need to get used to it" She may then ask you how you think she should have it and you could tell her.
If in answer to the question " do you like it?" she says "no" or " not sure" you could still say you preferred it a different style and put your ideas to her.
Be careful not to hurt her feelings, leave the mullet and crash helmet out of it !!!!!!!!!
Good luck, you're a good friend to have !!!!!!

Tell her it's a big change and you're still unsure about it. Best not to be brutally honest but also you don't want to lie as you are her friend and don't want her to walk round looking like an idiot forever! Then make a point of picking out pictures in magazines and say wow I bet that haircut would really suit you!! and hope that she gets a better one next time.

If shes not that good a friend then let her wear it like that - just avoid being seen in public with her. If shes a good friend tell her GENTLY. It may hurt her feelings at first but eventually she will be happy you told her instead of the people in the streets laughing at her.

Tell her it's never looked better...and then if she buys a new outfit say.... "whatever takes the focus off your head"......Just kidding. If she's really a good friend, tell her the truth but in a nice way like, "you know, it's not a bad haircut but I'm not sure if it's right for you".

I wouldn't lie. If she really thought it looked that bad, she would be in tears. If she wasn't happy with it, she should have never left the salon before she was satisfied. Your description sounds terrible. I hope she is able to style it, so it doesn't look as bad as you say it is.

Lie to her. You don't want to hurt her feelings. But I wouldn't tell her that it looks beautiful. Maybe just say, "it looks good, but I liked it better the way you had it before.
