keep getting convicted of inappropriate sexual conduct with young boys (yet not deemed a sexual predator or pedaphile), why is the church so against homosexuals?

Priests are human, when they are caught doing terrible things to children they are sent to Jail, it is sad that part of the church covered this up for a time.
Men are human, and men Sin. That does not mean that the Catholic Faith is wrong, just some mis-guided sick people that were in it.
Homosexuality is not a sin, I believe that many people are born this way. These people need our prayers and our support. Committing Homosexual acts is a sin.
Whether a priest had homosexual thoughts is of no concern to the Church or God, he has taken a vow of Chastity when he becomes a Priest.
How can someone who is chaste be either homosexual or heterosexual?

Less than 4% of all priest are engaged in inappropriate sexual conduct with young boys. This statistic while deplorable is still lower than the general population, and the penalty is far greater now than the general civil laws.
Pornography is epidemic in the general population! The Church has actively set in place a zero tolerance policy for sexual abuse of all kinds since 2002. Priest are immediately removed from potential contact of minors, review boards of non-Catholics and Catholic laity recommend actions to local Bishops, and civil authorities are dispatched immediately for investigation.
As NBC dateline proves, pedophilia is wide spread throughout our culture and country with little or no deterrent to perpetrators. This is wrong. Civil Authorities need to implement the same rigid standard of the Roman Catholic Church to safe guard all children from abuse.
Further, the Catholic Church is against homosexuality because it is adultery. Marriage is between one man and one woman. No Pope or future Pope has the authority to change the teachings that Jesus established himself. Homosexuality is against God covenant with His chosen people. It is a sin.

Pedophilia and homosexuality are not the same.
Pedophilia is the preference for sexual activity with children.
Homosexuality is romantic attraction to those of the same gender.
Traditionally, the Church stands against pedophilia because it is unlawful and unconscionable: children are innocent and must not be objectified.
The Church opposed homosexual ACTIVITY because it makes the transmission of life impossible.
Stop joining homosexuality and pedophilia. They're not the same. Pedophiliac priests are not all homosexual.

Heres the thing.
There harming children!!!!
Yes the church should kick them out for hurting kids.
Close mindedness. Human beings have cruelty in there make-up. Prists translate the Bible that way and humans are herd creatures needing to follow a leader. As for me if thats the only way gay folks can find love in the world they can do that. It's none of my business anyhow.

Do such priests really represent the true church, meaning the Body of Christ, or in greek, ecclesia, the called-out ones? My son is a skate-boarder and has a name for those who pretend to be skaters, but are not- posers.

Priests take a vow of celibacy, and those who sexually conducted themselves around young boys broke that vow and went against their beliefs. It takes a strong man of will to do what most priests have done, and that is serve their vocation.

homosexuals are not generally pedpohiles.
there are on average more good priests than bad. it's just that society today likes to glamorize the bad instead of helping those who've been hurt.
