Because it gives me hope for a wonderful future here on earth. God has instilled in all of us the desire to keep living:
Ecclesiastes 3:11__"He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end."
Death is not a natural thing for humans and it is our enemy:
1 Corinthians 15:26__"The last enemy that will be destroyed is death."
Yes, soon death will be no more.
God created humans and his purpose was for mankind to live in perfection without ever dying and his purpose never goes unfulfilled__"The LORD of hosts has sworn, saying, “ Surely, as I have thought, so it shall come to pass, And as I have purposed, so it shall stand."

Who would want to live forever? It seems like everything thing will get worse before it gets better...Then you would always be wishing that things could be the way it used to be....plus everybody that you loved or loved you would die eventually...

I should live forever? not in this place. i am sick and tired of being Judged and put down. and I can't wait to be with my Lord the sooner the better
