Firstly, No I would not take it! The thought of living forever is terrifying and boring, that's why we should make the most of the life we are given. We should learn to accept being old and death.
Secondly I would hope the government would ban such a drug as the world would soon become overpopulated.

If everyone took the pill after 200 years the population of the world would be massive. I doubt the government would release it.
Unless of course they decided it was okay if everyone was prevented from having children, in which case what would be the point of being immortal if you can't procreate?

No for it a silly thing to want immortality, think for a oment the amount of things you would put off if you lived for an eternity. We only appreciate life and the people we meet because we recogise, even if it is subconsciously, that life is short.
No also for the fact that the world is so overpopulated death is a good thing. For without death there would be no re-birth.
Life is an evolutionary cycle and who are we to mess this up, if we were meant to live forever then we would.

The goverment wouldnt release it. They would keep it for there greedy selves. If I could take it... well... maybe I would.. maybe I wouldnt. It depends: are their side effects? Will I look old or young? Will my health by good? Most likely not. No one truly needs to be immortal. The world would become far too overpopulated.

I wouldn't take it because I don't want to live in the Sun 4 Billion years from now. I don't think the Government would like to see the overpopulation and if no one perished it wouldn't be a very happy place being so crowded.

It depends on the side effects. I don't want to be immortal as a gimp. No the government wouldn't release it, they would keep it for themselves and really screw this country up.

Definitely not. The thought of having to endure whatever the world throws at us for millenia to come is quite terrifying.
Also, if the Earth ever explodes or collapses or something catastrophic like that, what would happen then? If you were immortal you would live through it, then what would your existence be like?

Be careful what you ask for. There is a big difference in being immortal and invincible. How would you feel if you took this drug and were later horribly injured and could not die?

I would take it if I were between 18-58 y/o, but I wouldn't take it after that because I'd have pains forever. I doubt the govt would have much leverage over something that stands to earn some pharmaceutical company billions of dollars, since they could sell it in other counties.
