When feeding a baby don't switched foods on him daily. For one week feed him one or two kinds just to see if he gets a allergic reaction to it. Then the following week feed him two more different kinds and so forth. Don't start off with th sweet ones because then they'll only want those ones, give like custard as a little desert after he is finish with his other meals.

Feed him at regular meal times: Breakfast Lunch and Dinner. The rest of the feedings should remain bottles until hes a bit older. But feed him at the times you normally eat so it will fit into your schedule.

Every 3 hours, twice a day? As a general rule, once they are established eaters they usually are fed, small amounts, about 5 times a day.

My ped told me when first starting with baby food, which is normally around 8 mths, you should only feed it to them once a day, typically at dinner time. Slowly go up from there. They still need as much nutrients from the breast milk/formula as possible!

vanilla custard? Not at all.

Breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner and with bottles inbetween but not so much that he wont eat solids. He can eat some things you eat now too.

We started 2 x a day, for 3-4 days to make sure they are not allergic & add more to their diet gradually.
