LOL sounds like you have your hands full there, but children need to explore and grow at their own pace . They know what they mean but cant really say it . whe he is ready to learn new things he will let you know, possibly when he is old enough to undrstand the english language. and mind his Grammar.
Cheer up at least he understans the concept of words ( 1 is singular, 2 is plural) I think you have a little winner there .
Dont fret you are a great Auntie keep up the good work.

He's 2. You're arguing with a 2 yr old. Let it slide and save yourself the stress.

Let it go. He's only two and there will be plenty of time when he's older to explain the complexities of the English language to him. Have fun singing the ABCs instead!

hmmm. am i right in assuming you've bathed, put into bed, read a story to and kissed goodnight said child genius before diving onto the computer?if that's the case he'll probably forget your abject humiliation by the morning...maybe. on the other hand he may choose to inform his doting parents that all you do when babysitting is play on the computer and criticise his mastery of the spoken word.
