I see the natives doing it all the time especially when they're doing the shows at some of the hotels in Maui. However, I don't recommend it to inexperienced people.

If you drive the road to Hana you can stop at mile marker 36 and hike through a bamboo forest to the 3 waterfalls and jump off one of them or go to Oheo Gulch.

Yes I was in Oahu and went to the waterfall park near the North Shore....they had a few waterfalls off which you could jump off 15-20ft maybe. Just make sure its deep enough :)

No, but I climbed up Diamond Head. They have tour packages where they will take you cliff diving, snorkeling, surfing... you name it.
