my 18 month old started out with a 101.3 temp. yeaterday,ok i gave her tylenole and gave her a cool bath. it went down a little then today she woke up fine, but shes not eating hardly anything, and she started to wine a little so i checked her temp.again and its up again at 101.3. i think it may be a sore throat. whats the other best thing besides tylenole to give a 18 month old for fever? i called her doctor but a nurse cant call back for another hour.

STRIP HER, BATHE HER IN LUKE WARM (OR EVEN TEPID WATER AND OPEN ALL YOUR WINDOWS (IF YOU LIVE SOMEWHERE COOL)

Place cold packs in her armpits, on her forehead and in her groins, these are the easiest places to affect her core temperature.

Good luck, let us know and she's doin...

you can give her Tylenol and ibuprofen. Ibuprofen every six hours and Tylenol in between. Keep light clothes on her and keep up with the luke warm water.

My cousins used to get alcohol baths(rubbing alcohol) they were very prone to high fevers. I'm not sure if that is still good or not! I agree with cool cloth on her head and popsicles. sounds right to me!!!

give her popsicles to suck on if you have any, or cold juice in her bottle or sippy cup. it will soothe her throat, and help lower her core temp.
