My ideas? Try to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. Work hard, but don't over 60 minutes at a time. Do planks and other abs exercises on alternate days.

On training days, do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.

The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!

Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.

Read magazines like Shape, Womens Fitness, Fitness, etc to get tips and to stay motivated.

Good luck and stick at it. This plan has lost me 20 lbs in 12 weeks so far, just go for it!

Well, we have a cruise coming up the beginning of December. Women wear lots of evening wear and this time I am going to look good by losing 12 pounds at least. I did something that I had never done before, I hired a personal trainer at the gym. I have been working out for 4 years but just enough to stay healthy. Now he is helping me and after only one week I can feel the difference. I have also lost 2 pounds. But he drives me hard and I have some new soreness I never felt before. I think I was wasting my time in the last 4 years. Now I am serious. Good luck and I hope you make it.

Don't get overly concerned about your weight. Think more about being healthy and looking good.

Burn more calories than you eat. Take in about 2000 a day.

Cut your fat intake.

Eat three cups of fat free low cal yogurt a day (make sure it has live cultures in it).

Do 45-60 min. of aerobic exercise a day (preferably before you eat in the morning).

Do 20 min of weight training three times a week.

Get a book or video on abdominal work. Remember that to make your stomach FLAT you need to PULL IT TO YOUR SPINE when you work it, when you sit, when you stand, all the time.

I lost 40 lbs in two months and have kept it off for two more months doing this. I also took my body fat % from 30% to 14%

Be Blessed

The best way to lose weight is to exercise your whole body. You can't just lose weight from one part of the body, for example the stomach by doing crucnhes or sit ups etc, unless you want a 6 pac that is. I would try swimming as it uses many muscles and relaxes the body too. You should lose weight if you exercise enough and eat moderately.

there's no exercise that can lose tummy fat fast. It takes a long, long time. You're better off having a tummy tuck for about £5000!
