Can anyone help me with this travel question...see details?

Ma dad is coming to the US in November and i want to know the cheapest airline ticket available.... He is coming from Lagos(LOS) to Maryland(BWI) or surrounding airports. Pls any help will be appreciated. Any date in November is OK

North American Airlines fly LOS to JFK - which at least gets him on the right continent. Other connections are via London but may involve going from Gatwick to Heathrow which may create visa problems depending on what passport your Dad holds. There is a British Airways connection via Heathrow, though. Most other airlines will involve two changes. Prices. BA a little under GBP650.00 (that's UK pounds) and North American about the £590 mark. Now, this is if you buy the ticket for him in the US or UK. However, the price of A to B bought from A is NOT the same as the price of A to B bought at B. Therefore, you must get your Dad in Lagos to find out how much his ticket is if he buys it in Lagos and then you send him the money. This is all part of the great airline rip off and it basically revolves around the principle that people in different countries have different disposable incomes. You live in the USA and therefore (this is the airline thinking) you are rich. Dad lives in Lagos and is therefore poor. If you can buy on a website you are rich, as you must own a computer and will also suffer from "I have bought it on the internet and therefore it must be cheap" syndrome! Good Luck!

You can fly United Airlines to Dulles from Lagos. This is direct so you won't have to worry aboust connections. You can also fly British Airways to Baltimore with a connection at Heathrow.

go on expedia.com and compare ticket prices but usually southwest is the cheapest. That's why the military uses it
