i have taught english or something to several foreign people through voice chat programs and in real life( as a conversation partner). They all tell me i could be a good teacher, and moreover i manage to make them understand thanks to the fact that i speak other foreign languages. Why is it then, that schools that teach conversational english have the requirement that you must have perfect english or be American and have this upbeat personality. I'm american, shy, hispanic, i'm not outgoing..but i'm good at teaching and i make it fun. So what else do you want? I've never actually tried to get work at any language school because i'm not anything that they ask for, but i'm sure i could help people. I even help my cousin who just came from mexico and is learning english, and he is doing great in his english class because i Help him and explain things to him.
