Maybe u have not heard that u don't have to use book English when on the Internet? Here are some common abbreviations:
LOL = laughing out loud
IMHO = in my humble opinion
IMAO = in my arrogant opinion
ROTFL = rolling on the floor laughing
U = you
AO = adults only
SEC = sexually explicit content
ILU = I love you
IHU = I hate you
+ what about all these things
:-)

Girl, please leave the morons alone. Sometimes you can't tell right off the bat from their prostylisizing how stupid they are unless they spell like second graders! We would have to resort to looking up their membership in the Republican party!
Unless you want to be a good person and shine the light of knowledge on ignorance..... that could work sometimes.......I guess

Yay! Someone else who loathes incorrect spelling. Seriously, if someone asks a question on here, and the first sentence has at least two wrong words, I quit reading and move on.

I try and maintain punctuation, capitalization, and proper spelling in all of my posts.
I find it clarifies the point I'm trying to make if people don't have to get out UrbanDictionary.com to try and decode what the heck it is that I'm saying.

Shouldn't that be "spelt" not "spelled"?
In addition, the first person, "I" should always be written as a capital letter and your sentences should start with capital letters.

last i checked this wasnt an english class. and there does exist slang... apparently you have never used slang? that is called computer slang. it is by far easier to type "u" then "you" same reason people say, brb, lol, rofl, afk, paw, and millions of others. if you dont like it no one is making you stay here and read it.

I can't bear bad spelling or grammar. I also hate abbreviations such as 'u' and 'b4.' It is so lazy and looks really bad.
