Belch is not my favoritre word but inability to do so at times is frustrating not to mention a bit unpleasant. I imagine a scopic exam of the esophegus is in order-and I assume it is done with a valium iv drip. ? marlyne B

believe it or not, often times when you have the inability to belch, or you feel like you have to force it, it could be something called a hiatal hernia. (I think thats how you spell it.) it's when this flap doesnt work properly, and it stays open to long. air gets trapped, causing discomfort in the place right below your chest and above your stomach. Try Zantac. It works for me. It makes me burp when I need to and relieves the pressure.

It is not surprising given that most industry is based on convincing us that we need what we want, and if we dont want it we are in some way lacking, it has got to the point where I buy nothing new I just let others take the loss and buy for maybe 30% of retail at twelve months old,, Oh excepting clothes but then they are very cheap and I have only what I need Peace debra

I've never actually been diagnosed but it might just be acid reflux. I'm not sure though.
