Ive known him for like, forever,but i dont know what to say.

You need need to be honest and come right out with it. I know it's seems like it's different because you and him have known each other for so long, but this is also what's going to work for you. Don't waste anytime asking him, if you can't ask him to his face send him a sweet email or a really sweet letter saying how you feel and ask him out that way. Trust me he would understand if you were a little shy about it. I write letters sometimes depending on the situation and I get great and positive responses no matter what the situation. Either way just tell him to his face or write him a letter, but let him know how serious you are and just let your true feelings come out and just be your normal self. I wish you luck girl!!!!

Maybe if you just ask him what he thinks about dating someone that was your friend first and the risk of what comes with that. It should get him thinking and then listen to what he says in response to that. It might give you a hint, but really after that all you can do is be straight with him and tell him that you have feelings for him. Good luck hunny!

I think the best think to do is to flirt with him a bit. Be overly friendly and hug him, etc. If he responds to this then maybe wait and he will ask you out and you wont have to really do anything other than say yes. If he responds to your flirting but doesnt ask you out, then just say to him " I really enjoy having you as a friend but how would you like us to be more than friends?" I like this one friend of mine (girl), and if she said it in that way I would totally say yes. Good luck!!!

Most of us don't recognize best friends of the opposite sex.
We only agree to it because we have feelings for you and think it is all we can get and still be around you.

I was in that situation. I came home from work and asked her if she was ready and she said for what. I told her that I was going to take her out and get her drunk, then take advantage of her. So we went out.
