You don't break up with anyone over the phone. Have the decency to break the news to his face. Don't be a coward you lose all respect if you do it over a phone or text message.

Don't do it by phone, that's harsh, I'd wait till I see him face to face..I know you might want to end it before then but the decent thing to do is wait not on the phone..

Call him and Say
" Hey this really isn't workin the way I thought it should so mabe we could try this another day. It's over but we can still be friends"

Please don't. It's not really a nice thing to do. Try to work out your differences before you break up. If that has failed, try and let him down gently: "I don't think we can resolve this problem, and I just want to be friends" or words to that effect. But MAKE SURE he understands that you want to break up, not just pause your relationship.

just talk to him in the way you would if u break-up with him face to face. breaking up by phone can be drastic because if u see him the next day, he could've started making bad rumors 'bout u. trust me, i've tried it.

Tell your boyfriend how you feel, and tell him that you don't think it will work between you two. I suggest not to do it over the phone though.
