We ain't old, just married and want cultural, classy and not to cheesy things to do. Where would you take your favorite Aunt if she came to see ya? Not big shoppers, don't mind a drive.

There's nothing classy about Navy Pier. It's pretty much all tacky souvenir shops and overpriced, mediocre food. Unless you want to ride the Ferris Wheel.

1.- Theater!!! you must go to plays. They say Spelling Bee is funny. Also you can try Wicked (read the book and loved it).

2.- Art Institute. In the 3rd floor they have a great colletion on impresionist. Several Renoir, VanGohg, etc.

3.- It is cool just to walk arround Navy Pier. No so cultural, but fun and relaxing.

4.- Must go to Millenium Park and have coffee there. Also relaxing and fun.

5.- Eat at the WaterTower Mall, at the Mezanine. Nice food, nice experience.

6.- Architecure Tour by boat. GREAT!

7.- Hop on-off tours. Nice also. Get you an overview of the city.

also try to look for the Chicago CityPass or the Chigago-go card It will give you discounts and you'll save on museums and attractions

Depends on your interests...

I'd suggest Navy Pier. Although it is touristy, you can take a boat cruise out into Lake Michigan from there and see the skyline. You can also rent bicycles there and there are plenty of places to eat. It's a good place to go for a walk and take pictures.

Museum of Science and Industry is fun and has lots of interesting exhibits. You could spend an entire day there. They have a rock from the moon, one of the original apollo space capsules, a captured german submarine, and much much more.

Brookfield Zoo is a little way out of Chicago and would require a drive, but they have lots of great exhibits and it's a good place to walk around and get outside. Their primate and dolphin exhibits are the tops.

Suggest eating deep dish pizza at Geno's East on Superior. There is always a wait, but it's well worth it. Gotta be deep dish though. It's the best pizza in town.

DEFINITELY do a dinner cruise on the Spirit of Chicago. It has a delicious gourmet buffet style dinner, live music and dancing during a 3 hour cruise on Lake Michigan. You will love it!

Also check out the Art Institute, Field Museum, and Shedd Aquarium. You will also want to check out the Broadway show, Wicked. Do NOT miss it! Swing by Chinatown if you like chinese food and culture.

Chicago has world class museums. Museum of Science and Industry--My friend is in charge of one of the world's biggest toy train sets.

Field Museum--with the King Tut exhibit

Art Institute

Or my favorite--the architectural river trip. You take a boat and they explain all the high rise buildings and who built them. It is really nice.
