Hello, there! I'm kind of the default expert in this subject. My name is Sin after all.
I'll try my best to answer your question. Your question could have actually gone into two categories. Singles & Dating or more appropriately Religion because this is a religious issue more than a social issue.
To make a long story short, yes it is a sin. 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4 says "For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that you should abstain from fornication: That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour." To posses your vessel in sanctification and honor means that you should keep your body pure. Just remember that your body can only be pure up to the point where it's no longer pure (i.e. this not only includes having sex but includes other things you normally wouldn't think about such as lusting after others even though you haven't actually committed any acts yet). This has nothing to do with whether the guy really loves you. Let's say two guys really love you and they love you equally. Then what?
So what happens if you do anyway? It doesn't necessarily mean you'll automatically burn in hell for all eternity. But as Christians, we try to be Christ-like in our living using the Word, or the Bible, as a way of life.
Socially, it will happen. People do it to see if they're compatible or maybe they just enjoy doing it.
Religiously, you're not supposed to.
The choice is yours. Know that God will judge in the end but the choice is still yours.

A sin is anything that you do, say or think that displeases God. In the bible it clearly states that you should not have sex before marriage and so if you disobey this rule then you will be displeasing God and therefore sinning. It is so hard nowdays to stay a virgin but your future husband will really respect you even more for staying pure. Remember, God can give you all the satisfaction that you need.

It depends on what your religious beliefs are. Some religions say it is a sin to have sex before marriage whether you are in love or you're not. I believe the only person you have to answer to with regards to sex is yourself.

Depends on your own personal beliefs. Going by "The Book", yes. Even if love's involved. However...we're talking about a book that's been rewritten over a period of 1.800 years. And unless we humans have been turned into perfect beings since then there've been a few things added or left out over the years. Keep in mind, during the dark ages, only the influential were able to read or write. So....yeah. Your best bet is to go with your heart.

If you believ pre-marital sex is a sin, then whether the guy loves you or not doesn't make a difference.
I personally don't believe in the idea of some specific thing being a sin.

God doesn't tell us not to do things because he doesn't want us to have fun. As a matter of fact, He said He came to give us life and life to the fullest! He tells us not to do things because they aren't good for us. He loves us! He wants to protect us. He doesn't want us to have sex outside of the boundaries of marriage because he knows what true intimacy is. It isn't giving yourself away to anyone who "loves" you. It's making a lifelong commitment to someone who will be with you in the good and the bad... Plus, studies have shown that the people most sexually satisfied are those in a loving and monogamous marriage relationship. And another thing, sex outside of marriage complicates things. Your feelings get all wrapped up in that person, not necessarily because you love them, but because you have been intimate with them. I'm sure you already know about the STD risks and pregnancy risks as well, but I hope that helps! God bless!

If you are asking, then you care. And so probably. And would be a sin whether or not 'that guy' loves you or not.

Im a Catholic myself and I know how it feels to wonder that. I always say, if you have to think twice, dont do it. If you feel like you can, go for it.
