I think I remember seeing something about how they made bit-o-honey on the food network channel or the history channel. I believe they started in the 20s. I remember growing up with it, and it is still one of my favorite candies today. =)

You caught my curiousity so I googled it, first came out in 1924 in Chicago, now the Nestle co makes it. Love it but is hell on my teeth!
