Ive tried twice- once with black once with orange, both times his hair all fell out... I need a sfe method, and a cool color.. Im about to run out of hair!!

I would ask a vet first b/c if the poor guy's hair is falling out you might burn his skin next time

Food coloring would be safe, I think, as suggested before since it's non-toxic. NEVER use human products on your dog! Some are very toxic to him and can do anything from giving him a horrible rash, to a full blown allergic reaction that could kill him.
If you must dye your dog, talk to the local vet or vet tech or groomer. They should be able to point you in the right direction to do it safely.

I don't know how much truth there is to it, but I watched a program on television once and they were dying dogs with clothes dye. I think hot pink would be cool or maybe blue.

I've always thought that dying your dog's fur is kind of stupid, but if you really want to then call a local dog groomer and they will be able to tell you what to use that won't effect your dogs fur. Kool-Aid seems like a safe option.
Though I suspect this whole question is a joke anyway.

You cant be serious! Some would say this is abuse!
Your dog is the color it is be happy with that.
Any kind of dye you put on his fur will absorb in to the skin causing problems for your pet.

This is a joke, right? You didn't really try to dye your dog's fur only to do it again after hair fell out the first time. No one could be THAT stupid..... could you?

Manic Panic is animal safe. I've used it to dye my dog and hamster.

If I knew where you lived, I would report you to the Humane Society. That is cruel. Dye you own hair and the leave the dog's alone.

my daughter does her dog for the holidays - she uses cool-Ade - or food coloring her dog is white so all she does is mix it with some water and give him a bath in it - has never made his hair fall out - but before you die it again please ck with a vet to make sure your dog is ok .
