Because most people prefer receiving instruction from man than from the source. Only through prayer, common to all religions, can communication with God occur. Only when you quiet your mind and listen can He speak to you. The benefits of prayer, which is the true communion with God, have been lost as the faithful have relied on religion for answers instead of faith. Peace is the test of validity of the answers, apparently religious interpretation of God has not resulted in peace. Patience is necessary, a first grader cannot grasp the concepts of astrophysics. Faith is what is important, not religion.

Because humans are conditioned to not know who they are - and there's no clarity when there are veils over our natural state of being (Consicously living as one with the Pattern (God)).
We are intended to be living expressions of the Living Pattern and we're about to collectively wake up to this realization. Then we'll just be who we are naturally...all the sub-natural ignorance will be thrown into the 'lake of fire' - and only who we ARE will remain.
Peace
