Take the Dog 1st, go back
Take the Oats 2nd, go back
Take the Goat last
All 3 things and himself are on the other side

OR

Just put all of them on the boat at the same time with him

OR

If he can only make 1 trip, make the goat eat the oats, then the dog eat the goat. Then take the dog to the island. Technically the goat and the oats r still there, just inside the dog.

Take the goat 1st drop it off
go back get the dog drop it off and put the goat back on the boat
Go get the oats and leave the goat
take the oats and leave it by the dog and
(last but, not least) go back for the goat and drop it off with the dog and the oats and yourself.

Take the goat over. come back, get the dog. Take the dog, and exchange him for the goat. Exchange the goat for the oats. Take the oats to the dog, leave em, and come bak for the goat last.

1. He takes the goat with him across the lake and leaves him on the other side.

2.He comes back for the dog, and brings him across the lake too, them takes the goat back with him on his return trip across the lake.

3.He leaves the goat there, and takes the oats with him to the other side and leaves it with the dog.

4.He comes back for the goat and goes across the lake again, and there´re all on the other side now. Alive, well and all in one piece. :D lol.

He wil first take goat with himself, keep it on the other side. DOG wont it OAT on this side. Than go back get the Oats and take it on the other side. Than put OATS there again take GOAT and bring it back. Drop the goat on this corner and take DOG with him on the other side. Drop the dog on the side where we had already left Oat. Come back to the other end take GOAT and bring it accross the lake. ALL have reached the other side SAFELY. HOPE U R SATISFIED WITH THE ANS... KEEP ASKIN Q's. Bye. Take care...

He takes his boat that is full of oats
Stuffs his goat til he floats
Soaks his dog in the moat
Where the dog will soon croak
Followed by the goat
Who now does not float
So the boy now can take
His boat full of oats
Across the lake to gloat
