Our company car is a Yaris and I'll tell you, it's a great little car. I regret not having bought one when I had the chance. It has a robust engine, lots of power for such a small car, and feels very solid and well made. It's a car that won't give you any problems for many years to come. If you are afraid it will look dated, well, you are probably right. The first Yaris isn't that old and Toyota has already changed the model. Toyota's do tend to look dated really fast, just look at the Landcruisers they made in the 90's.

I don't know a whole heck of about the reviews of the Yaris, but the resale valve of a Toyota is astronomical. They hold their value very well, here in cali scions from 04 are selling at almost the same price as a new one. By the way, all cars are going to look old in a few years, just saying.

I would say go for it. I once read a review about it from a man who said that he was 6'4" and had plenty of legroom! They're very inexpensive and come with a lot of nice little features (like an MP3 player hookup for not much extra). They're probably not the safest vehicle out there but there is no car that size with a 5-star safety raitng. There's a Yaris sedan at my grandmother's apartment building whenever I visit her and I always find myself looking inside it--very stylish for $12,000.

I used to have a Yaris (company car) and it was great! Great mileage and pretty spacious as far as small cars go. Big plus: you can park it anywhere. I took long trips in the car and it was very comfortable. I would definatly recommend it. And if you tire of it , Toyotas sell easily so you wont have a problem. But I think that once you own it you are going to really like it!

I am a warranty administrator and I have not seen one Yaris come through my desk for warranty work, since the vehicle came out. We are a average size dealership and do our share of warranty work. Hope this helps out.

It's a good Little car, but a Honda Fit is light years ahead if it. It cost a little more but you get more equipment
