How much booze & how long to chill? gettin ready for the Tailgate party.

Cut a Hole...about 2" We use about 1/2 gallon of whatever booze we choose...berry vodka is really good..pour it in SLOW. Replace youe "plug" Let it set atleast 24 hours. Have fun!

Either way works. I prefer to cut a small hole in the top. Use as much booze as you want. Of course, the more you use the stronger the result. Chill for at least two hours, and then enjoy!! If you are tailgating, be sure you have a designated driver!! PLEASE!!

For a large watermelon I am assuming. A half a gallon should do. If you want a strong spiked watermelon you should use Everclear. You should make the hole small and in this kind of shape \__/ to prevent your plug falling into your watermelon. I have also been told to make a small depression in the watermelon so as you are pouring SLOWLY the alcohol can pool and be absorbed.

I always cut a hole, put in the liquor, then used the plug to seal it back up while it cures in the fridge. Add the booze until it won't take any more!

don't use malibu rum. the top of my melon tasted like coconuts, the bottom like everclear.
